Primary Membership

Choose Primary Membership if the Durango Area Association of REALTORS® is the first or only Board of REALTORS® you are joining. This does not stop you from joining other area Boards, but it means you would join them as a Secondary member, and you would pay your National dues to DAAR.

Requirements for Primary Membership are:

• Your Broker of Record must belong to the Board you select as your Primary Board (unless you are the broker). If they hold a primary membership elsewhere outside of Colorado, then they must join as a secondary member.
• You must hold an active Colorado Real Estate License and be in good standing if you are transferring from another board office.
• Complete no less than 2.5 hours of ethics training and DAAR’s New Member Orientation training within 6 months of joining the association. If you are an existing member transferring from another board within the state, you may provide proof that you have already completed this training. If you are an existing member transferring from a board out of state, you may provide proof that you have taken the ethics course but are still subject to the new member orientation.

Secondary Membership

Secondary Membership entitles you to full benefits of membership in the Durango Area Association of REALTORS® but allows you to have another Board as your Primary Board.

Requirements for Secondary Membership are:

• Your Broker of Record must belong to the Board you select as your Primary Board (unless you are the broker). If they hold a primary membership elsewhere then they must join as a secondary member.
• You must hold an active Colorado Real Estate License that is in good standing.
• You must be a current member in good standing of another Board/Association of REALTORS®.
• If you are a primary member of a Colorado board you may provide DAAR with proof that you have completed no less than 2.5 hrs of Ethics training. If you are a primary member of a board outside of Colorado you may provide us with proof of your Ethics training, however, you must attend the DAAR New Member Orientation training.

Affiliate Membership (Non- Appraisers)

Basic Membership – $200/ prorated bi annually- All new Affiliates start at Basic level with option to upgrade at renewal

• Up to 2 staff participant memberships
• Business information listed/displayed on the DAAR website durangorealtor.com as preferred service provider
• Access to membership rosters, member email, and mailing addresses for distribution of your services
• Subscription to DAAR’s weekly electronic newsletter

• Company introduction at DAAR sponsored education session ($50 value)

Gold Membership– $750/ ($1350 value) $600 savings to affiliate member

• Gold Level golf tournament sponsorships – $450 value (equal to hole sponsorship)
• 1 entry to Grant Reception Dinner
